What Comet Coil stores on your device
Your scores, stardust, unlocked comets and settings are stored only on your device and are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
What we receive
Comet Coil does not require an account, and unless a section below says otherwise it does not send your content or personal details to us. The only data that leaves your device goes to the third-party services listed below, which we use to run and improve the app.
Third-party services
Comet Coil does not currently use third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or purchase services.

Game Center. If you sign in to Apple Game Center, your scores and achievements are shared with Apple, under Apple's privacy policy, so leaderboards and achievements work. We do not receive your Apple ID.
Children
Comet Coil is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Retention and deletion
Data stored on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Data held by third-party services is kept under their own retention policies, linked above. To ask us to delete anything we hold about you, email privacy@shonidigital.com.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
Personalised advertising, and analytics or similar technologies that access information on your device, rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Non-personalised ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, crash fixing and keeping the app secure rely on our legitimate interests.
International transfers
Some of the services above are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Those providers rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its use, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@shonidigital.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
Changes
